ABOUT
Quaker Corner is a student-run convenience store that sells apparel, snacks, drinks, and school supplies. Its mission is “to help students and parents more easily navigate Penn life by providing a cheaper and more convenient option to the bookstore, professional and amiable customer service, and a way for parents to feel more connected to their students.”
We offer a variety of services: provide customer service for all nine Penn Student Agencies’ businesses via phone, email, and in person; serve as sales associates for the store; stock shelves; keeping the store tidy and appealing; designing and order various products; ordering and delivering birthday cakes and care packages for students; and helping to distribute summer storage boxes for School Storage (at the end of semesters).

How to Order Online
To order an item, add the item to your online shopping cart. Items purchased online are shipped to the shipping address provided upon checkout via the United States Postal Service.
Payment Methods
Quaker Corner accepts Visa, Mastercard, Amex, check, Penncash, Bursar and budget code. Please make all checks payable to the Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania. Note, check, Penncash, Bursar and budget code payments cannot be taken online.

LEADERSHIP ROLES
Each director has their own responsibilies that are paramount to the overall operations of the buisness. These roles are filled internally, as PSA strives to promote growth and promotion opportunites for all of its students. Executive Director
The Quaker Corner Executive Director supports Quaker Corner by training and supervising all Customer Service Representatives and coordinating shifts schedules for the Quaker Corner Store.
Preferred Experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills are required as this position communicates with the PSA General Manager, parents, students, and vendors on a regular basis.
- Must be reliable, organized, responsible, able to delegate tasks, able to act quickly and meet deadlines, responsive to email, and a self-starter who can take initiative.
Key Acquired Skills
- Conflict Resolution: gained through addressing customer complaints and employee errors in a calm, timely, and effective manner.
- Time Management: gained through learning how to accomplish academic and director responsibilities in a timely and organized manager for the duration of your employment.
- Communication: gained through determining effective messaging and channels to increase awareness of the products Quaker Corner provides on-campus.
Purchasing and Marketing Director
The Quaker Corner Director of Purchasing & Marketing supports Quaker Corner by monitoring sales and financial summaries, actively promoting the store on campus, and seeking new products to sell and marketing outlets.

The Quaker Corner Customer Service Representative supports Quaker Corner by staffing the store and responding to customer inquiries/concerns on behalf of all PSA agencies.
With each additional year of employment, Quaker Corner employees become eligable for promotion opportunites, raises, and bonuses.
