ABOUT
One of the newest agencies in Penn Student Agencies, PennLens is a multimedia solutions operation. Services offered by this agency include photography, videography, and media consultation. This agency formed in the Spring of 2020 from a merger between the PSA agency, OhSnap Photography and another student-run business not affiliated with PSA, PennLens. The services offered by the new PennLens agency are meant to support clients in achieving their brand and marketing visions.
LEADERSHIP ROLES
Each director has their own responsibilies that are paramount to the overall operations of the buisness. These roles are filled internally, as PSA strives to promote growth and promotion opportunites for all of its students. Executive Director
The Penn Lens Executive Director supports the agency by supervising overall operations, recruitment, and finances.
Perferred Experience
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor are required for contacting prospective clients.
- Must be reliable, organized, responsible, able to delegate work, and dependable for deadlines and quick turnaround.

Operations Director
The Penn Lens Director of Operations supports the agency by supervising the overall client experience, oversee the function of the Project Managers, submit employee payroll, and maintain invoices.

Public Relations Director
The Penn Lens Director of Public Relations supports the agency by acquiring new business partnerships and clients.

Marketing Director
The Penn Lens Director of Marketing supports the agency by executing brand coherence and business merchandising.

Videography Director
The Penn Lens Director of Videography supports the agency by supervising the operations of the videography branch.

- Experience with videography and video editing is required.
- Must be reliable, organized, responsible, able to delegate work, and dependable for deadlines and quick turnaround.
Photography Director
The Penn Lens Director of Photography supports the agency by supervising the operations of the photography branch.

- Experience with photography and photo editing is required.
- Must be reliable, organized, responsible, able to delegate work, and dependable for deadlines and quick turnaround.
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Photographer
Penn Lens offers photography services for any customer looking for headshots, event coverage, product photos, promotional material, location highlights etc. This is a great opportunity for our talented student photographers to get more experience working with clients and developing their talents. The Penn Lens Photographer supports the business by covering their assigned photo shoots and editing their photos for delivery.
Preferred Experience & Skills:
- Must have photography experience. Having your own equipment is preferred, but not required.
- Must be able to work in teams and collaborate with others in big projects.
- Must have a discerning eye for good shots, and experience with some of the following areas is a plus: event photography, portraiture, studio lighting.
- Preferred experience with photo editing software, such as Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, GIMP
- We expect you to be dependable for deadlines and provide the clients with quick turnaround on projects.
- Must be proactive and generally excited about photography, with a passion for learning new skills and developing new techniques.

- Photography skills: working with other skilled team members will let you acquire new photography skills and techniques.
- Time Management: being able to work in productions in a timely manner while balancing school.
- Editing Skills: expansion of skill set for Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop and GIMP

Videographer
Penn Lens offers videography services for any customer looking to produce commercial clips, event footage, interviews, music videos, etc. This is a great opportunity for our talented student videographers to get more experience working with clients and developing their talents. The Penn Lens Videographer supports the business by covering their assigned video shoots and editing their footage so that it can be delivered.

- Must have a discerning eye for good designs, and experience with some of the following areas is a plus: animations, graphic design.

- Must be proactive and generally excited about design, with a passion for learning new skills and developing new techniques.
